I live on the Mornington Peninsula, studied Art at Chisholm College obtaining a Diploma of Visual Art majoring in painting. I won the painting prize for my graduation year. I was in a group of five women artists on the Peninsula in the 'Battery' studio and also a member of the 'Anaharta' group of artists. Painting is my number one love, but I also work in print-making and drawing. Drawing is often incorporated within my paintings
The physicality and energy of applying paint is the primary driver of my work. Colour and texture are layered, hidden and partly revealed to glimpse the history beneath. My work is infulenced by my environment, and I draw on memories and my personal language and motifs.
